Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge 51
This was a great challenge for me! I used paper from DCWV The Cardstock Stack and DCWV The Stack 6. The image is called MLSMflowers from Bugaboo. I used my Cricut Plantin SchoolBook cartridge to cut out the oval. The buttons and brad embellishments came from Hobby Lobby. I used my Crayola Super Tip Washable Markers to color the image. You've got to love Crayola! Thanks for the wonderful challenge!
Erika, I love your paper and the adorable freebie image you used. Great job on your coloring. I'm impressed with the use of your Crayolas. It's always great to use the resources that we already have! I'm sure that talent comes with being a school teacher! Have a great week!
This is the cutest card ever and I love those pretty papers with the wonderful colors! You know I have those same markers - will have to try them because it is a lot cheaper than Copics! I love the brads in those perfect buttons - how cool are those!? Thanks for joining us at SSW! :)Thanks for joining us at SSW! :)
I use the Sketch Copic markers. I do have some of the Ciao copic markers. there isn't much difference in them. The Ciao ones don't cost as much as the Sketch...I think that is because they don't hold as much ink.
This is adorable! I love the image and fun bright colors. I use Crayola markers when I need a special color - the price is right!! Thanks so much for playing at SSW.
Hello Miss Erica, It was so fun to see you play again this week. I love your bright color . The dcvw paper is adorable. Great use of those crayola markers. Your card is so adorably sweet. Have a sweet day and thanks for playing along @SSW!!!
My name is Erika and I am a mother and an elementary school teacher. I love scrapbooking and card making. Making jewelry has also been fun. I grew up in a home where my mom was always making things for us, dresses, dolls, stuffed animals and such. I loved it. I tried to learn some things but it was difficult because I am left handed and my mom is right handed. Needless to say, I left home without knowing how to do some really cool things. It wasn't until I was pregnant with my daughter that I really wanted to make the effort to learn. I learned how to sew and do some other fun crafts. Thank goodness my mom is the craft queen of the world because I have been able to go to her and ask her for help. She is my best example and my best friend. Plus, she made me start this blog...so here I am.
I love the brads in the holes of your buttons. Clever idea! Your image is adorable and you did a great job coloring!
