Here she is, watching mommy take pictures of her quilt. She has to always see what mommy is up to. She also wants to make sure I don't do anything with her quilt!

- My name is Erika and I am a mother and an elementary school teacher. I love scrapbooking and card making. Making jewelry has also been fun. I grew up in a home where my mom was always making things for us, dresses, dolls, stuffed animals and such. I loved it. I tried to learn some things but it was difficult because I am left handed and my mom is right handed. Needless to say, I left home without knowing how to do some really cool things. It wasn't until I was pregnant with my daughter that I really wanted to make the effort to learn. I learned how to sew and do some other fun crafts. Thank goodness my mom is the craft queen of the world because I have been able to go to her and ask her for help. She is my best example and my best friend. Plus, she made me start this blog...so here I am.
