Phew! I made it! Summer is here. This week was bitter sweet. Sweet in that I am now officially on vacation until mid August, but bitter in that a dear family friend has suffered a loss. After many years of battling cancer, her husband passed on Wednesday. I made this for her and her two young sons. Many thoughts and prayers are being sent their way!

Hi Erika I'm so so sorry to hear about your friend I hate hearing of the word Cancer. My sister has just been diagnosed with it she has lung cancer. I think your card is really really sweet and your friend will really appreciate it especially hand made from you.
