Ten Cents Quilt
I made this quilt for my daughter. She absolutely loves her quilt! She even picked out the colors! She drags it all over the house with her and has to sleep with it every night. I followed the pattern by Me and My Sister Designs and it's called Ten Cents.
My name is Erika and I am a mother and an elementary school teacher. I love scrapbooking and card making. Making jewelry has also been fun. I grew up in a home where my mom was always making things for us, dresses, dolls, stuffed animals and such. I loved it. I tried to learn some things but it was difficult because I am left handed and my mom is right handed. Needless to say, I left home without knowing how to do some really cool things. It wasn't until I was pregnant with my daughter that I really wanted to make the effort to learn. I learned how to sew and do some other fun crafts. Thank goodness my mom is the craft queen of the world because I have been able to go to her and ask her for help. She is my best example and my best friend. Plus, she made me start this blog...so here I am.
You did such a nice job on your quilt!! I am loving the fact that you are sewing...This makes me so proud!!!
