Hello everyone! I hope that you had a wonderful week. All I can say is that state testing for our school is over and all we have is 4 weeks left of school! Yay!!! We still have writing assessments to do and we are planning on doing them this next week, then three weeks of prepping them for the next grade. I'm hoping that the time goes quickly as this has been somewhat of a long year for me.
I just found out that a friend of mine is having a baby girl and I thought that it would be fun to make a card for her. I made two versions, alternating the papers. I hope that you like them.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday 151

Well, I survived this week...There are six weeks left of school and I am so ready for summer vacation! We start our state testing on Monday...hoping they're all ready! Anyway, I really loved this sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday. It was a lot of fun to make. I also got this darling image from Bugaboo. Don't you love him?!?

I am a child of God...

I had bought a couple of canvases and wasn't sure what I was going to do with them. I knew I wanted to use some photographs but wasn't exactly sure how I wanted to put it together...then the idea came to me. These are pictures of my two children. They are 3 years apart, but I chose their pictures when they both turned 1 year old. I used my George font from my Cricut to cut the letters and used DCWV papers. I used craft paint to paint the sides of the canvas and then used Mod Podge. When everything was set and dry, I added the three buttons in the corner.

I think they turned out pretty cute! I hope you like them too!

Sweet Sketch Wednesday 149

Well, I know it has been a while since I posted a card last. Things have been pretty crazy around here. I had our second child and he is growing a bunch. He is already one! Where does the time go! My daughter is also growing bunches and is a big help with her brother. Work is always busy and lots to do with other activities. Anyway, I finally got the chance to make a card and it felt good to be back at it!

It's been a while...

I feel like I've been neglecting my crafting duties, however, I have been having too much fun being mommy to my two little ones. This first picture is of my son, my second child, just a couple of weeks after he was born. Isn't he cute?!? He's sitting in the back of a truck that a friend gave to me at my baby shower.



This is him...a year later! Look how much he's grown in a year! I can't believe it!

We did Mickey cupcakes for his birthday...very SIMPLE to make! I got the idea off of Pinterest...my new addiction!

The birthday sign was made with my Disney Font Cricut Cartridge.

Goodie Bags...they were fun to make! Again...with help from the Cricut!

Maybe I'll get posting my cards and other crafts soon...It's just been a little busy around my house with two little ones! Love it!

Sweet Sketch Wednesday #108

Wow! Things got really hectic this last week. We celebrated our daughter's third birthday and she had a blast. We got a castle bounce house and had the pool set up for her and her guests. They sure had a lot of fun, but boy! Was mom tired!!! All I can say though, is that it was well worth it to see the look on her face when that bounce house was set up and ready to go!

Here is my card that I am submitting to Sweet Sketch Wednesday. What a fun sketch! I had fun with this one as it reminded me of all the good times I had at summer baseball games with my dad. We always had a lot of fun!

Another week has passed and we are trying diligently to get things underway for our daughter's third birthday party. This week will definitely be crazy as we have things to get done nearly everyday. Oh well...the things we do for our children!

Hello everyone! I am glad to be back again this week. I am now officially finished with the school year. It has been a long haul and I am so glad to have a break. It seems so surreal that I don't have to get up at 5 in the morning tomorrow if I don't want to...that is if my new little one will let me sleep! :-)

Well, I have to share this picture of my little guy with you. He was just incredibly happy today and I had to capture it with my camera. He brings so much joy to my life as well as my daughter.

This is one of three cards that I made exactly alike. I modified the sketch provided. These cards were made for three teachers that I work with. We work very closely together with the first and second graders. Since it was the end of the year, I wanted to give them a card to thank them for all of their help.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday #104

Hello All! I can't believe that I have made an appearance two weeks in a row! Hopefully I am back to those things that I enjoy and that the dust will settle with all the busy things of life. School is almost out. We only have four more days! I can't believe that we are finally there. This has definitely been a tough year. A lot of changes at my school, having a baby, and then losing a student. What an emotional year! I am so grateful, though, for the chance to have taught her. She was in my class when I taught 1st grade and then for 2nd grade. She was a sweetie!

There has also been a lot of births, or soon to be births - which is such a blessing to many families. That is why I decided to create this card:

Sweet Sketch Wednesday #103

Well, it's been a LONG while since I have actually posted on my blog. I can't believe how quickly time has gone by. Since my last post, my family has grown by one. This is our newest little one! We now have a boy to torment our daughter! He is definitely a big boy - 9 pounds, 6 ounces...all without an epidural!

My daughter finally decided that having a brother isn't too bad!

Hello all in blogger world! Things have been kind of crazy here as I have gone back to work from our Christmas vacation. Getting back into the swing of things was a little more difficult than I anticipated as I am now closing in on my seventh month of pregnancy.
