I made this quilt for my daughter. She absolutely loves her quilt! She even picked out the colors! She drags it all over the house with her and has to sleep with it every night. I followed the pattern by Me and My Sister Designs and it's called Ten Cents.

Bugaboo. I used my Cricut Plantin SchoolBook cartridge to cut out the oval. The buttons and brad embellishments came from Hobby Lobby. I used my Crayola Super Tip Washable Markers to color the image. You've got to love Crayola! Thanks for the wonderful challenge!

My boss is retiring and I really wanted to do something special for her. My sister and I designed the quilt. I used T-shirt iron on transfers for the pictures. You have to make sure that when you print them, that the printer is set to print it as a mirror image, otherwise you will have a picture backwards when it is ironed on. We ironed on each picture and then sewed all the blocks together. The letters on the header and footer were cut out by my Cricut and I used the Disney font cartridge. I used wonder under to iron them on (make sure you iron the wonder under on the fabric before you use the Cricut to cut them out) and then sewed around each letter. It was a lot of sewing but I was able to get it done in two weekends. Let me just say my boss absolutely loved it!
